About the Multiple Sclerosis Society

The MS Society is the leading charitable funder of MS research in the UK, supporting high quality research that this is relevant to the lives of people affected by MS. We accept applications from UK based academic and NHS organisations for any field of research relating to MS. This ranges from basic biomedical research into the causes of, and effective therapies for, MS including investigations into the mechanisms of nerve damage, repair and protection; research to improve the management of symptoms and support the delivery of better services for people affected by MS; and social-economic research into the epidemiology and impact of living with MS.

Please note that the Society no longer accepts paper or email based applications, all applications must be made using our online system. Please also note that the Society no longer accepts applications for Senior Fellowship Awards, but encourages interested applicants to apply for the Medical Research Council/MS Society joint-funded Career Development Award.
